Moodboards are a collection of images or words that act as a visual presentation of ideas for your dream beauty salon. With this, you will have a clear vision and a consistent design to follow. You can add photos of inspiration, feelings that you want to portray, and the color palette that you desire. It’s totally up to you! Once you have a moodboard to follow, you can refer to it before you make any purchases.

5. Follow your budget

Set a budget and follow it! Make a list of everything you want to buy, the cost of it and where you’ll get it. Now, assign each item to a “must-have” or “nice-to-have” category.

The trick is to prioritize your budget to the “must-have” items first, which are the items that will make your studio functional enough to start earning your first dollar. Once you have a few clients under your belt, you’ll have more disposable income to make your “nice-to-have” purchases.
